An excerpt from Nils Ferlin’s “Barfotabarn”, written in 1933.

Du har tappat ditt ord och din papperslapp,
du barfotabarn i livet.
Så sitter du åter på handlar’ns trapp
och gråter så övergivet.
Vad var det för ord – var det långt eller kort,
var det väl eller illa skrivet?
Tänk efter nu – förr’n vi föser dig bort,
du barfotabarn i livet.

“You have lost your word and your written note, you barefooted child in life.

You sit on the porch of the grocer anew and cry so abandoned.

What word was it - was it long or short, was it well or poorly written?

Think twice now - before we shove you away, you barefooted child in life.”

Ethan have knack for posting both interestingly and beautifully, but for us Swedish followers this was as unexpected as heartwarming. Thank you Ethan.

Your voice will be heard!
Copenhagen jacket - would be nice to see one with soft/round shoulders. I love your cutaway collars - the main thing I turn to you for; the ss12 additions with extreme spread was perfect. But more staple shirts are needed - light and french blues in non-shiny materials. I want a shirt, not something I can check my hairdue in on my way to work. A down vest with wool shell would be dearly desired. Love what you do. Cheers
